Black disinfected phenyl are being sprayed
regularly in the water stagnated areas, public urinals and toilets.

One homeopathic dispensary has been running since 25.4.2001 by this NAC with a qualified
doctor
for providing free treatment to the general people.

Urban Poverty Alleviation Works:-
Belpahar NAC has
been implementing Swarna Jayanti Sahari Rojgar Yojana & National Slum
Development Programme to eradicate Urban Poverty & to provide basic

A.
Belpahar NAC is going to construct the new office building near
Badpulia & Staff quarters at Junadihi.
B.
The work of development of Solid Waste Disposal ground at Kadupara
is under progress.
C.
Two Smasanghats and one Kabarstan is being developed.
D.
Belpahar NAC has now taken up the mass awareness programmes to ban
polythene.
E.
Massive Plantation Programme have been taken with provisions of
tree guards in the street sides. Till
date more than 500Nos. of plants have been grown in the area. 8 Nos. of
Eco-clubs have also been formed to safeguard & take care of the green
environment of the locality.
F.
PLAN FOR FUTURE
1.
Belpahar NAC needs water supply scheme in large scale to provide
drinking water through home connections to all households adopting water
supply project having water treatment plant/overhead tanks from permanent
reservoir constructing Embankment
of water source spots.
2.
The NAC has decided to construct and develop an Eco-park, Children
park & Kalyan Mandap.
3.
A stadium shall be developed to facilitate sports activities.
4.
A shopping complex in the area consisting of 50 Nos. of shop rooms
is planned to be constructed under IDSMT scheme.
