             I am glad to know that the District administration of Jharsuguda   has   hosted  a   website  on the internet .  Access to  information   makes   democratic  process  more  effective.   Now-a-days more    emphasis is given on decentralisation of power and involvement   of people in the development process.  District website is thus an   effective instrument to provide update information to the public.

             I  hope  the  website  will  go a  long way to make e-governance a reality.

          I   am happy to note that the website  on Jharsuguda  District,  was inaugurated by Hon'ble Chief Minister on 01.12.2001, The  contents of  website will not only  exhibit the various  facts of the district, but would also reveal the activities and progress and various Government programmes.

          I wish this venture all success as it is meant to reach out to the  people  and foster responsive and transparent administration.
